Premature ejaculation

It is a sexual dysfunction consisting of premature ejaculation, estimated time from penetration to ejaculation of 1- 3 minutes.

How do you know if you have premature ejaculation?

  • You always, or almost always, ejaculate within a minute of penetration.
  • You are never, or rarely able to delay ejaculation when you have sex.
  • You feel distressed and frustrated, and tend to avoid sexual intimacy as a result.

Symptoms

The main symptom is the inability to delay ejaculation for more than one minute after penetration.

  • What problems can premature ejaculation cause?
  • Loss of self-esteem
  • Male and partner anxiety.
  • Poor satisfaction with their sex life.
  • Low level of partner satisfaction.

Ranking

  • Primary (lifelong): Occurs every time or almost every time since you have had sex.
  • Secondary (acquired): This occurs after sexual experiences without ejaculatory problems.
